Accommodation (self-catering)

The stone walled / slate roofed barns have been recently converted to a high specification (materials and design) whilst retaining a number of selected features in keeping with their original 19th Century charm. Each barn has its own dedicated outdoor space (including BBQ, patio/terrace and parking area). Guests share the private grounds between the barns, which includes a babbling brook, a tree house and adjacent meadows. Both dwellings have remarkable views and land to rent for additional camping if required. The barns are totally secure and furniture is of a high spec with the emphasis on eclectic.

Each barn has under-floor heating and a wood burning stove and each has a fully equipped kitchen (electric cooker, fridge-freezer, dish-washer and microwave oven). Bed linen and towels are provided with a weekly change over & cleaning service.

And just in case you find it hard to switch off completely - facilities also include Sky TV, DVD Player, CD player and radio. The area covers Orange mobile phone networks only – but there is a landline installed in case of emergency (or in case you need to dial up for internet access).

Upper Bailea is a single unit comprising 2 adjoined barns, combined to give a large double bedroom with ensuite shower room, a spacious open plan living room, dining and kitchen area. In addition to the standard facilities this unit also has a washing machine. There is also an open Inglenook fireplace in the bedroom which is separated from the sleeping area by a standalone Victorian bath. Sleeping space is neatly separated from living space via a short glass walkway and a few stone steps. Leading from living area via French doors is an under floor lit terrace, and hollow oak lit from within.

Lower Bailea comprising 1 upper floor double bedroom over looking brook with spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor (the shower room is also located on the ground floor). The giant picture window in the living area affords delightful views over neighbouring fields to the hills above. Access to the loft bedroom is via contemporary spiral staircase.

Get Lost Barns can be booked either as two separate units or together as a single unit.
Whilst the barns are ideally suited to couples or small groups (2-4) – children are welcome. Not ideal for the infirm. Pets to be discussed.
